Sekai Camera selected as Winner in United Nations based World Summit Award, Abu Dhabi

We are proud to inform you that Sekai Camera has been selected as one of the winners of the “best mobile content”, awarded by the United Nations based World Summit Award. We will be called on stage at the Abu Dhabi Gala, December 6th, 2010.
The WSA-mobile selects and promotes the world’s best in mobile content and innovative applications. It is based on the mechanism of the World Summit Award (www.wsis-award.org), with the Winners’ Gala taking place in Abu Dhabi in December 2010 in cooperation and along with the UN DESA GAID Global Forum.

Sekai Camera and other finalists were selected in the UN member states by a multi-step evaluation process lead by eminent national experts, an independent selection committee or an open national contest. The Grand Jury of 20 internationally recognized experts selected the global winners from the national finalists.

About the WSA-mobile

Organised by the International Center for New Media (ICNM) in Salzburg, the World Summit Award Mobile is a global initiative within the framework of, and in cooperation with, the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), in collaboration with UNESCO, UNIDO and the United National Global Alliance for ICT and Development (UN GAID).
The WSA-mobile is the only ICT event worldwide, which reaches the mobile community in over 160 countries and is able to promote the best mobile content and innovative applications out of this huge selection.
