By using the OpenAir for Publishers API, publishres will be able to place Air Tags on the AR platform of Sekai Camera.
If you already provide on the Internet or other media, contents with geolocation data , you may re-publish those contents on the Sekai Camera AR platform and enjoy the following merits:

  1. By mapping your contents on the AR platform, you can increase your contents’ exposure and provide end-users with a completely new experience; access to information just by holding their device over reality.
  2. The contents will reach the most applicable and valuable audience – the ones who are “there”.

OpenAir for Publishers API will give contents providers a very powerful and flexible tool.
Publishers will be able to publish or edit Air Tags from anywhere. They will be able to choose their own design for the Air Tags, and compose Air Tags with text, images, and sound at their will.
Contents published through the API will be dealt as Authorized User posted contents, and will be delivered to end users with higher priority.

Alternative Solutions : About AMS

Another solution exists for placing Air Tags in the Sekai Camera AR platform, other than the OpenAir for Publishers API – it is the AMS(Air Tag Management System) included in our Enterprise solution, “Sekai Camera eX”.  Publishers who wish to provide content to the Sekai Camera platform should choose between the two solutions based on the following guidelines:

We recommend that you use the OpenAir for Publishers API if you meet the following conditions:

  • You already hold contents with geolocation data.
  • Contents you want to publish is numerous (more than thousands).
  • Contents you want to publish is updated often (more than once a day).
  • You have enough development resources that can integrate your system utilizing the API.

Conversely, please consider using the AMS if your situation is as follows:

  • The contents you want to publish is less than a few hundred.
  • The contents you want to publish is not updated much (less than once a month)
  • You do not have enough development resources to integrate your system using the API.
